Hi my name is Kaylee Banks! I' ve been singing since age 3, My mom and dad said before I could even say words I was humming
to music. My dad told me that when he picked my mom and I up from the hospital he was playing AC/DC in his truck and I loved
it! I've always loved music. Every year we had a 4th of July party with a band and I would sing for my family and friends.
My dad made a stage on his car trailer and mom and my sisters would decorate and hang up the lights on it. We had so much
fun!
When I was in elementary school I joined a singing program called, "Friendship Club". We traveled around to the
malls, retirement homes, sang for our mayor, the flint police, sent videos to soldiers across seas, Flint Generals games,
sang at the grand opening for Krispy Kreme Donuts and even went to our state capital to sing!
Then my parents got me into the Flint Institute of Music where I took voice lessons for a year. I started to enter singing
competitions all over Michigan. I now have nine trophies and many ribbons for the top five runner-ups. I love doing karoke
and singing all different kinds of music. I just made my first CD which I recorded to the song Red Neck Woman by Gretchen
Wilson. My parents have taken me to four different concerts and I one day hope to have a concert of my own.
